Bubble by Declan Green

To survive an apocalypse, you need strength, speed, and survival skills. So what happens to those who don’t have any of these?

Before the drifters took over, Sam was the acclaimed author of A Balloon Called Bubble – a popular series of children’s books, teaching kids to embrace adventure and fight fear.

Now, confined to a wheelchair and stranded in a motel basement, Sam depends entirely on his siblings, Casey and Violet. But with Casey growing more distant, Sam is losing his grip on the few things he has left in his life. Forced to face his past mistakes to figure out where it all went wrong, Sam struggles to find his place in a world that needs action heroes, not writers.

Written by local playwright Declan Green, Bubble is a survival drama that explores the strengths and limits of family ties in a world where art has lost its value
